WeVideo is a free app that allows for collaborative video editing. This app is a web 2.0 tool that can be used inside of a google chrome browser without the installation of any other components but allowing certain permissions inside of your google account. The greatest feature is the collaboration and just like any other google doc you just set the permission for the other contributors and they will find the project in their shared files.
WeVideo also has three different modes for creating videos; storyboard, timeline, and advanced. The three modes are great for creating a quick video or a more involved project. WeVideo also saves everything automatically into your google drive folder. The app is available on all chrome browsers and an android version that allows for basic editing. iOS also offers a companion for wevideo but it only allows for direct uploads to wevideo and does not allow for editing on the spot.
Users can also access videos and images from google drive, drop box, instagram, and other web apps to quickly create high quality videos within any chrome browser.
