Possible Applications
Ask students to watch a video that you have already previewed via LCD projector or individually or in groups if you have classroom iPads.
In small groups (2-3) have the students (TIPS) Think Ink Pair Share with each other.
Give the students a question to answer during their TIPS discussion.
First lesson idea: If you only have one iPad in the classroom use the Splashtop WhiteBoard to have each group write one descriptive word that explains the video. Have the iPad scribe write the word on the ipad. Then have the group leader give the iPad to the next group. (Give each group 3 minutes to come up with their word and start passing the iPad around the room.)
Second lesson idea: This is a great way to use a describing thinking map where each group can write their descriptive word on the board in a large classroom thinking map.
