(Originally found HERE)
Picture

Project Mission:

  • Develop a systematic implementation of technology based on developing teachers wherever they are currently residing on the SAMR scale.
  • Write 4 eBooks, one for each level of SAMR.
  • Write ancillary eBooks on tech topics such as: LMS’s, Cloud Computing, Management Apps, Web 2.0 Tools, etc.
  • Record podcasts for groups of “similar apps” at each level of SAMR.
  • Publish podcasts through iTunes U.

Format of Every Book:

  • Introduction with information about that level of SAMR
  • Identify groups of “similar apps”
  • Write one chapter per group of “similar apps” including embedded video tutorials, screen captures, student work samples (if possible), implementation ideas, and “instead of that, do this” ideas consistent with the SAMR level
  • End each chapter with an inspirational classroom anecdote from our personal teaching
  • Add as many chapters as necessary
  • End the book with a Conclusion chapter that provides management tips, inspiration, more anecdotes, other resources, and a glossary
