Long ago, in a land far far away, there was an idea to create an app that would dominate the calculator market for... FREE. The folks who came up with this idea were so determined to make this happen that they developed an incredible team built on customer service, responding to the growing requests, and enhancing their product to meet the needs of all math teachers (or any subject that integrates graphing. Hint: all subjects incorporate graphs).
This app that was created goes by the name of Desmos and it should be at the top of any wish list. For basic graphing, Desmos can be used to plot points and linear functions. For more advanced graphing, there are functions, trig functions, and much more. For even more advanced demands, there is a slider to manipulate the values. On top of the basic functions, a group of math teachers have collaborated for a Daily Desmos. Using the free graphing calculator, the team creates a daily challenge for anyone on the WWW to accept and accomplish. There are various tiers of difficulty, so jump in!
