App of the Week for November 12th:
AutismTrack
Price: $0.99
For the 1 in 88 children who are diagnosed with autism, life can be very challenging. These children go through their everyday lives in a constant struggle to communicate the way they intend and to have their voices heard. Autism is a diagnosis that is difficult for all stakeholders to deal with, including the parents, teachers, administrators, friends, family, and classmates. According to an Autism Society estimate, the cost of lifelong care can be reduced by 2/3 with proper diagnosis and intervention. While we certainly do not have a cure for autism, we have found a great app that allows all stakeholders involved in an autistic child's education to have an invaluable opportunity to see the progress and intervention steps taking place in that child's life.
With this app, the individual is able to:
Legally, it is crucial for teachers and administrators to have a heavy dose of evidence to support the proof of meeting the needs of our special needs children. AutismTrack is a simple and clear-cut app that allows the user to get as detailed as desired, analyze the data, and share the data within seconds.

With this app, the individual is able to:
- Create a case for each autistic child on that person's caseload
- Include daily interventions like medications taken, supplements taken, diet changes, and therapies applied
- Within each day of interventions, easily take notes about what is working, not working, or any other peripherally pertinent information
- Document behaviors, including attentiveness, echolalia, eye contact, hyperactivity, self-stimming behavior, or other custom behaviors that you create with a sliding scale of least desirable to most desirable
- Review each day's log entries
- Analyze and review trends as they begin to form
- Email raw metrics to your inbox (from here, you would be able to easily share out with other stakeholders on how the student is performing to his/her goals on a daily/weekly/biweekly basis)
